Chord gets dedicated!

A little over a week ago, we realized that baby dedications were coming up for our church.  Because of the number of babies and families, our church will “queue” all the dedications and run them in batches across the weekend services on Mother’s Day.

IMG_2087Mom & Dad Milbury made the trip down and were here for the event – (yup, that’s them in the second row) and we could not be more blessed!  Little chord was good as could be – and he was so cute dressed up in his little outfit, complete with a cute little flat cap!

The girls looked gorgeous as well – they
made sure to take advantage of the event to get dressed up and prettied up using some birthday makeup. IMG_2094 I can not believe how fast time moves, and how big they have gotten! Of course, as soon as the dedication was over, they raced off to Super Church and changed into pajamas (it was a going-away for Benjamin pajama party super church night)

We are so blessed, and we want to thank everyone who has prayed for our family and for Chord over these past months.  Your love and support has left us literally speechless at times. We can not wait to see what God will do with Chord’s life.

Welcome Chord!

Let me just start this blog out saying that I do not deserve the blessings and kindness that God has shown to me through my family and others.  I am one of the luckiest guys that I know, and words can not describe my pride as a husband or as a father to these amazing younglings.

Over the next few months, I will post photos and stories of how Chord came to the world, how God blessed us with a miracle birth and I fully expect him to grow way too fast – this is the one thing I have learned so far as a father that is a sure thing!

A word of thanks to all who have been with us on this journey, and a welcome to anyone who has recently joined us.  You mean so much to us, we love you and appreciate every minute, every meal, every gift that has been given – you are part of us.
